After the success and interest of the ‘Putting & Prosecco’, the Ladies were out in force again for the next golf taster event of ‘Chipping & Chips’.
This time the weather was glorious and really made you feel golf could be the sport for new ladies prepared to give golf a try.
Liam Hancock, Cavendish Assist Professional led the session.
Liam did a quick recap on the basics of putting and then went on to introduce chipping; both onto the putting green and also into an upside down umbrella!
The session ended with another fun putting competition pairing up visitors with Cavendish Lady Member to test the skills they had learned.
Back in the Club House, after all that chipping on the course, what could be more appropriate than ‘chip butties’ in the club house!
Some of the new Ladies have signed up for a 5 Week Group Lesson, which starts next week.
