A warm welcome
We offer a warm welcome to Societies and other Groups and will do everything we can to make your visit to Cavendish an enjoyable experience. Our aim is to make your day successful. Society organisers and golfers regularly return to enjoy Cavendish and we host many Captains Away Days, corporate events and charity fund raising days during the season.
We would be delighted to discuss a package tailored to your specific requirements and can arrange catering from traditional golf club fare, through to full formal dinner events. Our catering team would be delighted to discuss menus or special requests that will enable your day to be a success. It is advisable to book early, particularly in the busier warmer months!

Society Enquiry Form
Societies are welcomed on weekdays and occasional Sundays. We will be pleased to confirm your booking on receipt of a deposit.
A deposit of £5 per society member will be required with booking application before confirmation will be sent.
3.Number of Society Members
The minimum number of Society Members to attract the special rate is 10, and definite numbers must be confirmed no later than 7 days before your visit. Cancellation after that time will result in loss of deposit(s). Handicap Certificates should be carried.
The Society Organiser should report to Golf Reception to confirm arrangements for the day. The clubhouse and changing rooms open at 8.00am.
Your members are most welcome to use the Lounge, Bar and Dining Room.
6. Dress Code
Normally acceptable golfing attire is required for the course. The dress code for Clubhouse is smart casual with jackets and ties not required by the Club. Societies may wish to wear more formal attire and are of course free to do so. The Club expects that visitors will conform to the normally accepted standard of smart casual dress and organisers are expected to communicate this information to members of their party to avoid any misunderstanding on the day.
7. Form of Play
Please confirm your arrangements in the Golf Reception at the start of the day.
8. Golf Etiquette
Members of your Society should be fully aware of golf etiquette and particular attention should be given to raking bunkers, repairing pitch marks and avoiding slow play. Society Members must also abide by the Club’s Rules when advised to do so.
9. Trolleys & Buggies
Trolleys and Buggies may be used on the course unless the course condition does not permit their use. Both are available for hire from Golf Reception.
Payment of Green Fees and Catering Costs should be settled when final numbers are given, seven days prior to play.
