Cavendish is a member’ club and there are many members and friends of the club who do so much to help the club from behind the scenes.
Our greens staff keep the course in fabulous condition all year round; but what isn’t always known is that they are supported by many members and friends of the club who do sterling work behind the scenes. These volunteers are always willing to do jobs at no cost, keep things current and they deserve a mention.
Every Tuesday morning, Stuart Robinson and Mick Connolly don their working gear and do all sorts of jobs to keep outside areas of the club clean and tidy.
For the last couple of weeks they have been out painting the handrails all round the Tee’s and paths. Over the year they tidy up the flower beds, sweep the paths, cut back areas of growth or as directed by Warwick. Thank you Mick (Picasso) & Stuart (Rembrandt) for your continued support.
Even Mike Watson continues to add articles to our website, despite now living in Belper – thanks Mike for keeping us posted!
We know there are many other unsung volunteers who love the Club and want to help it thrive.
To all of you, your continued support is greatly appreciated by the Cavendish Board and its members.
It really does make a difference.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
