18 Cavendish ladies spent a wonderful weekend at Oulton Hall near Leeds, travelling on Sunday 6 August. The event comprised dinner bed and breakfast with two rounds of golf leaving Monday.
After all the recent rain the ladies were so lucky that the sun shone on them all the time!
Oulton Hall has three nine hole sections and on day 1 they played holes 19 – 27 followed by holes 1 – 9. Like Cavendish they had struggled to mow all the fairways and the first nine holes proved very difficult, however the second nine was much better.
On the second day they played the straight 18 and playing the complete course proved a much better round. We played a 4am of mixed ability teams and prizes were presented each day (see photos).
In the evening we gathered together all suitably refreshed and dressed and all enjoyed the meal and wine.
