The event this year was held on 30th October. The evening began with a welcome glass of Prosecco from Lady Captain followed by a 2 course meal in the dining room where Riccardo & team looked after us in their usual brilliant style.
After the meal the presentation took place back in the main Club House area. The trophies were absolutely gleaming having been lovingly polished earlier in the week by Lady Captain & a team of helpers, in fact the team were on such a roll they cleaned the Men’s trophies too!
The Ladies Match & Handicap Secretary, Rachel Child, hosted the evening supported by Wendy Goldstraw, assistant M&H secretary and Lady Captain who presented vouchers to all competition winners along with the trophy winners.
The evening concluded with Lady Captain asking her Lady Vice Captain, Andie Curtis, to announce who would be her Lady Vice Captain in 2026. There had been much speculation throughout the evening, so after a few words Andie revealed that Shelley Reynolds would be our Lady Captain for 2027.
