Cavendish Golf Club progressed to the Semi Final of the Archie Preston Mixed Foursomes Team event by narrowly beating Turton GC by 4 games to 3 in the Quarter Final played on Bank Holiday Monday 26th August.
Cavendish, represented by The Captains, Fiona & Neil Flynn, Andie Curtis & Jeff Haddon, Wendy Goldstraw & Neil Bolton, Chris Campbell & Neil Curtis, Sue Anderson & Matt Kirk and Alison Scattegood & Stephen Whalley were tied at 3 games all with the last match being won to ensure victory.
The semi Final is being played @ Withington GC @ 10am on Sunday 14th September, caddies / supporters most welcome !!!!!
