What a fabulous evening to see so many women collecting so many Prizes. This year the event was held on 14th November and boy did they show off the Clubs Silverware (which had been polished to the brighten of shines for the big occasion). The evening started with a 2 course dinner, after which the Ladies moved into the main Club Area to start the evenings celebrations.
The Womens Match & Handicap Officer, Rachel Child, hosted the evening and was supported by Lady Captain Wendy Goldstraw, who presented the trophies to the winners.
They also had the 5 Derbyshire County Trophies on hand which they had won this year, making it a fantastic celebration of the Cavendish Ladies success in its 99th year as a Club. It is thought it may be the most successful year to date, well certainly in recent years anyway. True to form, our Ladies know how to celebrate and LC Wendy had the Prosecco on hand to ensure they toasted the successes of all the winners that season. Congratulations everyone!
