Captains Day – July 27th
Cavendish Captain Steve Bell was worrying he might have been in the running for the ‘Raining Captain’ title when his first Captain’s Day was rained-off, but at the second attempt on 27 July, the weather held out and the sun even shone for some of the time!.
Supported throughout in the halfway house on the 12th tee by Lady Captain, some lady members and Mr Captains family, members were treated to bacon and sausage butties and cake, all washed down with a refreshing cuppa or pint of beer,
