A wet & windy start to the friendly match between the Cavy and our Friends at Disley. 14 Pairs battled it out on the lovely, high slopes of the Disley course taking in the breath taking views across Kinder, Derbyshire, Cheshire and even parts of Wales on a clear day, or so we’re told!! The Disley team were out to win and they did, however, the individual games were wonderfully jovial and the comradery was wonderful.
It was all followed by a delicious 2 course meal and enjoyable banter. A great day and excellent way for new players to golf could experience a different course and match play rules.
