It was nearly a full field on the golf course with brave golfers making their way down the course despite the intermittent rain and gusty wind, and when the sun went in, the real cold spells!
Members, as always came up trumps, providing some amazing raffle prizes for the Tombola, which ran throughout the day and evening, with Lady Captain selling tickets before she ventured onto the fairways with her team.
Captain Steve & his family were in charge of the evenings entertainment, hosting a fabulous Race Night. Bets were placed and the races were televised on the screen. It was a great evening attracting a full grandstand with members, families and friends having a thoroughly horsey night!
Overall, The Captains raised an amazing £1,250 for their chosen charities. Thanks to the generosity of the clubs membership.
