The Ladies from Cavendish visited Stockport GC on Tuesday 12 May for an exchange with the Stockport Women’s section. After a run of recent beautiful weather, we were unlucky enough to have a day with four seasons in it! The eighteen brave visitors donned waterproofs and set off in misty, damp conditions which soon turned into downpours. Shortly after, it stopped, and the sun came out but with it some brutal winds and low temperatures.
The course felt long and, with some tricky Par 3s, tested the skills of the Cavendish ladies. With three holes up for grabs for nearest the pin prizes, not one ball found its way to a green!
Everyone finished the round dry and made it inside to the beautiful clubhouse where the group enjoyed a delicious two course meal and a small prize presentation took place. A fabulous day out and a big thank you to the team at Stockport GC for looking after us so well.
