The women of Cavendish held their annual Easter competition last Thursday. Arriving at the club with blue skies, warm sunshine and no breeze really felt like Spring had sprung!
5 teams of 3 balls prepared for a yellow ball 3AM. Each team given 2 yellow balls by the Lady Captain. Rotating the yellow ball player, with the yellow ball scoring double points plus the next best score to count. Lose the ball though and lose double points on the hole. If the 2nd ball was also lost the team forfeited the chance for any more double points! No team lost all their balls, and those who came back with both balls got an extra bonus point.
Once back in the clubhouse, the scores were revealed with top three teams receiving Easter eggs, and a creme egg consolation prize for those players not placed.
A great start to the season with the main competitions kicking off during April.
