Well, we had yet another successful children’s Christmas party! Christmas jumpers, festive jewellery and Santa hats adorned the ladies helping to make the children’s party go well!
Lady Captain, Andie & Vice Lady Captain, Shelley would like to thank our Junior Captain, Oscar Roberts and his mum, Sam, for help at the ever popular chocolate tombola (always a winner) alongside Nicola and Nisey.
Lorna (Mr Vice Captain’s wife), Wendy, Chris and Clare were all a fantastic help on the busy craft table.
Paul supplied fabulous raffle prizes and catered for all the children yet again. The Disco was a welcome stand in to help with ‘pass the parcel’ and ‘musical statues’ keeping the children distracted whilst Santa made his undercover way on a fancy buggy to the 16th tee ready for his trip back (in the rain)! Thanks to Captain Jeff for sorting out the ‘sleigh’.
Father Christmas was excitedly received by all the children and did a super job, giving each child the time to tell him of their hopes for Christmas day.
The Bollington Balloon Man was this year’s entertainer and he did a great job keeping both the children and their parents enthralled with his balloon models.
As always, many thanks to the bar staff who give such a good service to members and their families.
