The ladies of Cavendish have been working their way through the divisional rounds of both the Silver and Bronze Divisions in the Women’s Interclub Trophy 2026 since May.
After making it to the top of both of their divisions by mid July, both the Silver and Bronze teams travelled to Mickleover GC on 23 July to play in the semifinals.
It was a very hot day on the course making for tough conditions, with dry grass, hard fairways and some brutal bounces. The day ended with mixed results…..sadly, commiserations for the Bronze team who lost to Chapel 3-2, but congratulations to the Silver team winning against Erewash 3-2. Good Luck now to the Silver team going through to the finals in early August at Stanedge GC.
