Saturday 22nd March saw the Men’s Section play the Winter League Final, the first Board Competition of the new season. Congratulations to the 33 players that made it through the qualification competitions.
Scoring in both divisions was remarkable given that this was the first time the course had been played from the white tees and without the assistance of fairway mats this year.
Winner in Division 1 with an incredible score of 41pts playing off a handicap of 3 was Neil Booth (photo 1) and Winner in Division 2 with a very impressive 42pts was Jack Haddon (photo 2) both seen here receiving their trophies from Mr Captain.
Additionally the top 8 placed scorers from each division (photo 3) received prize vouchers plus a limited edition Centenary commemorative glass of which there a further 160 left to be won this season !
