Cavendish GC were fortunate to be drawn at home in round 1 of the Men’s over 50s Taskers Trophy.
On Sunday 6th April seven singles matches were played against last years semi finalists from Lees Hall GC, Sheffield. Cavendish players (see photo) Neil Bolton, Alan Webster, Mick Gould, Richard Preston, Mike Oakes, Jonathan Reynolds and Mr Captain managed a superb victory of 6.5 to 0.5 to progress into the next round.
Many thanks to all 14 players who enjoyed a friendly match in superb sunny conditions and good luck for the next round due to be drawn on Monday 14th April.
