They range from high profile golf resort courses, with housing developments or luxury hotel courses with housing development, often in new and emerging markets; to golf course restoration projects, where a sense of history of the place and of the game of golf have been crucial. We also undertake the sensitive reconstruction or renovation works on courses seeking to update and stay competitive.
Whatever the scale or profile of the project, we design golf courses which are both tactically exciting and environmentally sympathetic. We have built golf courses on difficult and challenging sites; involving colliery waste, landfill, heathland, mountainsides, flood plains – most of which are ecologically delicate. We have the experience, the resources and the vision to transform our hand-drawn designs into stunning computer-generated imagery, through to reality on site, with access to some of the best golf course project managers and specialist consultants in the business.
At Gaunt Golf Design, we live and breathe golf course design and development. Few British golf course architects better understand the discipline of golf course architecture and master-planning. As a potential client, you have every reason to entrust your golf course development project to us.
