Friday 13th Prosecco & Putting Success

Ladies show how it’s done!

They say that ‘positive people carry the weather within them’ – this was certainly true of the Ladies Committee who conceived, promoted, project managed, resourced and delivered the innovative ‘Prosecco & Putting’ evening planned for Friday 13th.
After the ground-splitting 12 week of glorious sunshine without a single drop of rain, why would anyone (apart from Weather Eagle, Garry) think the weather would change for the event?
Just as the event was due to start the heavens opened which was great for the thirsty course but not so helpful for the deliver of the event.
But … despite the rain (and Friday 13th), the event went ahead with the help of a few wet suits and umbrellas. The event was a great success with 13 girls and young women turning out to take part in an evening of activity and fun.
Following an introductory glass of Prosecco or juice, Lady Captain welcomed them to Cavendish Golf Club and thanked them all for turning out.
Kim Bradbury then introduced them to a range of putting challenges which they tried and enjoyed.
From the conversations and feedback at the end the evening, these girls and young women will be returning for more challenges and fun.
Thanks to the ‘Pink’ ladies for all their hard work and support.
