Cavendish Captains’ Charity Day was a fabulous success on Saturday. The weather was great for October and the course looked stunning in all its autumnal glory.
We raised an incredible £1400 on the day for Cancer Research and the Cavendish Bunker Fund.
Thanks to Warwick and his team for their hard work preparing for the day. Paul, Matt and Ricardo ensured there were plenty of delicious refreshments available. Rachel’s persuasive skills worked wonders on Saturday and we received many generous bids for the Silent Auction. However, it is still running until the 26th October so if you would like to bid on one of the fabulous prizes, which are still displayed in the pro-shop, please text Mr Captain on 07977 045571.
Well done and a massive thank you to all those members that participated on Saturday. There were some fantastic scores! Congratulations to the winners:

Macmillan Charity Day
Thanks to the generosity of members and visitors Cavendish Golf Club was once again able to show our support for Macmillan. The charity day we held a few weeks ago raised just over £1,000 which brings to just over £4,500 our donations to this fantastic charity in the last few years.
A great effort by all concerned.
