Ready Chef? Ready Chef!

Cavendish Sunday Carvery huge success

Resident Chef Ricardo and ‘peripatetic’ Chef John, showed how things should be run and were just brilliant on Sunday.
The food was delicious, hot and plentiful and the new Cavendish ambience, whether in the newly decorated dining room or the main lounge, with what has to be the best view from any restaurant in Buxton, was warm and welcoming.

Over 120 people attended with a good mix of club members and members of the public.
There were overwhelmingly positive comments from everyone about the quality of the food and also the service provided by Manager Charlotte and her hospitality team.
Last week 100 people took lunch, so some steady progress was made.

Cristina’s Desserts

Cooperation and teamwork were the hallmarks of another fantastic Sunday Cavendish Carvery … with an extra special mention for Cristina’s delicious homemade desserts!
Those thick chocolate covered profiteroles filled with chattily cream were to die for … so was the lemon cheesecake … oh and the coconut and egg custard tart and and and and …..

Matt Featherstone was on bar duty and served many pints of the most popular speciality beer Cavendish Pale Ale. Thanks to Matt for kindly taking most of these images.
