So much progress on so many fronts
Cavendish volunteers were hard at it yesterday and today making improvements to the course and around the clubhouse … and what a difference they’re making!
Planned tree thinning has started by professional contractors supported by staff and volunteers. The main benefit will be increased light and air circulation to improve the health of the greens.
Roger and his team are populating Stuart’s newly discovered rockeries … and what an impact the clearance work has made behind the 18th green and how it opens up the course for visitors as they approach up the drive. Great initiative.
After completing the mammoth repointing job of our iconic balcony, Rob, Bob and Paul are now working on the new spike bar patio.
This new patio with its entrance via the spike bar and lounge will create some welcome outside space surrounding the putting green that will be brilliant for a drink after a game.
Thanks again to all our brilliant volunteers.
